According to the data of Rosstat, processed by Sugar.Ru, the stocks of sugar with wholesale trade decreased to 160287.7 tons in January 2018 (-58.58% against the previous month and + 67.71% against January of the previous year).

KAZAKHSTAN
According to the analysis of the Kazakhstan FCS foreign trade data for January 2018 with the countries outside CU, conducted by Sugar.Ru, the import of raw sugar (HS code 170114) amounted to 24.52 thousand tons (133.50% compared to the same period in 2017 ), delivery from Cuba. Import of white sugar (HS code 170199) was 2.73 thousand tons, exports – 16.20 thousand tons to Uzbekistan
ARMENIA
According to the analysis of the Statkom of Armenia figures, conducted by Sugar.Ru, the production of sugar in January 2018 was none. The production of confectionery products declined by 62.79% in January 2018 and amounted to 0.9 thousand tons (in the previous month - 2.4 thousand tons, in January 2017 - 0.8 thousand tons, in January 2016 – 0.6 thousand tons). In January 2018, total 1 000 tons of confectionery was produced (in January 2017 - 1,000 tons).
GEORGIA
According to the National Statistics Service of Georgia, consumer sugar prices decreased by 2.91% in February 2018 compared to the previous month, and at an annualized rate (February 2018 to February 2017) - by 13.53%.
