According to Rosstat, the stocks of sugar with the wholesale trade companies increased to 106552.28 tons in November 2017 (+ 28.76% compared to the previous month and + 26.48% by November of 2016).
According to Rosstat, the sale of sugar by large and medium-sized wholesale organizations increased to 311,688.21 tons in November 2017 (+ 5.06% compared to the previous month and + 37.74% against November 2016).
GEORGIA
According to the analysis of National Statistics Office of Georgia, in November 2017 the import of raw cane sugar (HS code 170114) has made $399.0 ($15.4 thousand in 2016). Totally in for January - November 2017 Georgia imported raw cane sugar for $23.6 million ($24.6 million in 2016).
Export of raw cane sugar in January - November 2017 has made $0.0, total for 11 months 2017 - $0.0 (in 2016 - $3.5 million)
UKRAINE
According to the analysis of data by the Federal Customs Service of Ukraine, in 10 months (January - October) 2017, export of white sugar (HS code 170199) made total 484 894 MT, in October only - 42 320 MT. Import of white sugar (HS code 170199) made total 1 198 MT, in October only - 150 MT. Major importers of refined sugar from Ukraine are Sri Lanka (50,648 tons), Libya (38,680 tons), Turkey (37,240 tons), Azerbaijan (36,209 tons), Côte d'Ivoire (34,520 tons) and Sudan ( 34,180 tons).
Ukraine has delivered 64.5 thousand tons of white sugar over 10 months to CIS markets traditional for Russian sugar, including to Azerbaijan - 36.2 thousand tons, Kyrgyzstan - 2.5 thousand tons, Tajikistan - 12.6 thousand tons, Turkmenistan - 3.8 thousand tons.
Export of other sugars (HS code 1702) made total 39 444 MT, in October only - 3 767 MT. Import of other sugars made total 10 369 MT, in October only - 989 MT. Export of molasses (HS code 1703) made total 61 856 MT, export of beet pulp (HS code 230320) - 55 780 MT.
