RUSSIA
According to the figures by Williams Brasil dated August 16, 2016, total 32 vessels have been nominated to carry 1 089 900 MT of raw cane sugar in 2016 season from Brazilian seaports to the Black/Baltic seaports with end-receivers in CIS, Georgia and Baltic states. As of today, the volume received and unloaded makes 866 150 MT from 25 vessels, based on Sugar.ru data.
KAZAKHSTAN
According to the Statistics Committee of Kazakhstan, the volume of sugar and molasses production has increased by 4.49% and has reached 48 154 MT in July 2016 (which is highest figure for July in the past 4 years). From the beginning of 2016 the country has produced 263 148 tons of sugar and molasses.
BELARUS
According Belarus Statistics Committee, the national sugar production has made 35 000 tons in July 2016; thus making sugar production volume this year total 255,300 tons, which is 13.6% more than the same period last year.
UKRAINE
According to the State Statistics Service, the average price for white sugar from producers has made UAH 10 905.52 per ton in July 2016 (or around RUR 27 836/MT at the current rate of the Central Bank of Russian Federation).
