RUSSIA
Krasnodar regional administration has imposed restriction for trucks weighing more over 12 tons to move on the roads of the region. Until August 31, 2016 any large cargo transport should travel only from Monday to Friday strictly from 21h00 to 9h00, exception though is provided for transportation of agricultural goods which will be valid from August16.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, the wholesale price of sugar rose by 1.9%, retail - by 1.1% in the period July 19 – 25. 2016.

According to Rosstat, the sugar stocks with the wholesale trade decreased to 90,834.2 tons in June 2016 (-1.2% vs. previous month; (minus) 44.86% for 12 months, and -9.35% YTD). In 2015 season the sugar reserves are historically low for June; previous minimum was observed in June 2012 (130 thousand tons). In recent years there has been a tendency to moderate seasonal inventory fluctuations.

CUSTOMS UNION
The import duty for raw sugar shipments to the Customs Union was reduced to US$ 140/ton for August 2016. In September 2016 the fee will remain at same low US$ 140/ton.
KAZAKHSTAN
According to the national statistics Committee, the consumer prices for sugar have increased by 11.3% in July 2016; from the beginning of the year the growth has made 26.4%, while in annual terms (July 2016 to July 2015) - by 65.4%.
