RUSSIA
A fire broke out in the Kursk region at the Lgov sugar factory. The fire took place in the production building: a slate wooden lathing of the roof has burnt, and the building was on fire as well. The deputy governor of the region said that there were no victims of the fire, and the plant's property was insured.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, as of December 3, 2021, sugar beets were collected from 990.4 thousand hectares; bulk harvest makes 40.6 million tons.
UKRAINE
Sugar factories in Vinnytsia region accepted for processing 2,104.1 thousand tons of sugar beet, - 1969.0 thousand tons processed and produced 292.6 thousand tons of sugar as of December 3, 2021, the regional administration reports.
Ukraine, as of December 3, 2021, has produced 1142.6 thousand tons of sugar out of 8.15 million tons of sugar beet processed, Ukrtsukor reports.
GEORGIA
Consumer prices for sugar increased by 4.46% in November 2021, compared to previous month; on an annualized basis (by November 2020) - by 34.73%, the National Statistics Service reports.
