The sugar beet harvest will exceed 9.4 million tons in the Krasnodar Territory, said the deputy head of the regional administration Andrei Korobka.

Following the meeting of the EEC (European Economic Commission), it was proposed to import 770 thousand tons of sugar and raw sugar to the EAEU countries in the 2021/22 season, including:
- Russia - 300 thousand tons of sugar or raw sugar
- Kazakhstan - 250 thousand tons of raw sugar
- Belarus - 90 thousand tons of raw sugar
- Kyrgyzstan - 70 thousand tons of raw sugar
- Armenia - 60 thousand tons of sugar or raw sugar
The volumes of quotas may be revised in April 2022 based on the results of sugar production in the EAEU countries and prices on the world market.
UKRAINE
On November 22, 2021 Ukraine produced 1,033.8 thousand tons of sugar and processed 7.42 million tons of sugar beets, Ukrtsukor reports.

The projected production of sugar in the Vinnytsia region this year will reach 330-350 thousand tons. As of November 18, 2021, the region's sugar factories accepted 1,787 thousand tons of beets for processing, processed 1,655 thousand tons, and produced 243 thousand tons of sugar. There are 5 sugar factories in operation in the 2021 production season.
