RUSSIA
Tatarstan has grown 1.35 million tons of sugar beet, the regional Ministry of Agriculture reports. The factories have received 1.1 million tons of the new crop since the beginning of harvesting, including 784 thousand tons of beets processed. To date, 125 thousand tons of granulated sugar has been produced with a sugar production yield of 16.1%. Beet processing will be fully completed by December 20.

The harvesting of sugar beets has been completed in the Kursk region, the regional administration reports. More than 3.5 million tons of beet roots have been collected; the average yield made 39.2 MT/ha. According to operational data, the regional sugar factories received 2 million 427 thousand tons of sugar beets with a sugar content of 18.15%; processed about 1 million 950 thousand tons and produced more than 287.5 thousand tons of sugar.

UKRAINE
The harvesting of sugar beet is being completed in Vinnitsa region by November 12, 2021. The region collected 2375.2 thousand tons of beet from 48.3 thousand hectares (97.4% to the forecast); an average yield makes 49.18 MT/ha, which is higher by 7.86 MT/ha compared to 2020. The factories accepted for processing 1615.1 thousand tons of beets total and have processed 1489.6 thousand tons of the volume; sugar production has made 216.8 thousand tons.
