As of September 22, all 6 sugar factories are operating in the Lipetsk region, 744 thousand tons of new crop sugar beets have been processed, 104.8 thousand tons of sugar have been produced, sugar content is 19.18%. Beets were harvested from 22.3 thousand hectares, 742.9 thousand tons collected; the yield of beet makes 33.26 MT/ha.

Agrarians of Mordovia have started digging sugar beets. As of September 22, a volume of 6 345 tons was received from 225 hectares, with an average yield of 28.2 MT/ha.

According to Soyuzrossahar, as of September 20, 220.6 thousand hectares of sugar beet crops were harvested, which is 11% less than last year. 8.3 million tons of sugar beet have been collected. The national average yield is 37.8 MT/ha, which is 5.0% higher than the same period in 2020. Since the beginning of the production season, Russia has produced more than 782 thousand tons of beet sugar, which is 7% less than last year.

According to Ukrtsukor, as of September 21, 2021, The country produced 83 thousand tons of sugar and processed 687.3 thousand tons of sugar beet.
