RUSSIA
As of September 16, sugar beets were harvested from 17.2 thousand hectares in the Lipetsk region; bulk volume collected has made 559.6 thousand tons; average field yield amounted to 32.52 MT/ha. The total volume of beet processed has reached 536 thousand tons. The all six sugar factories of the region are operating and have produced 74 thousand tons of beet sugar. Dobrinsky sugar plant has put into storage 8291 cubic meters of sugar syrup. The sugar content of beets is growing and has already reached 19.01%, according to the Agricultural Department of the Lipetsk region.
