According to the analytical service of Soyuzrossakhar, sugar plants in Krasnodar region plans to start sugar beets processing in the first ten days of August. In the first 10 days they will be able to produce up to 50 thousand tons of beet sugar from the 2021 crop.

On July 22, 2021, 7 sugar contracts were sold at NTB. The total volume of sales has made 680 MT at the average price of RUR 40300/MT (US$540.98/MT at the exchange rate of CBR on date indicated). Trading session closed at $540.98/MT (CFO).
UKRAINE
The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine has imposed a fine of UAH68 million on Radekhovsky Sugar due to violation of the legislation on the protection of economic competition as it gained the assets of the Khorostkovsky Sugar Plant.
