RUSSIA
The price of white beet sugar from industrial producers remained at RUR 36.04/kg (0.0% per week) as of June 2, 2021, according to the monitoring data, the Ministry of Agriculture reports.
UKRAINE
Ukraine eliminated the sugar deficit on the market through imports, as claimed by the Ukrainian Club of Agrarian Business (UCAB). According to the State Customs Service, Ukraine imported 60 thousand tons of raw sugar in May 2021, to cover the sugar deficit in the domestic market.
ARMENIA
Consumer prices for sugar commodities (sugar and granulated sugar) increased by 1.9% in May 2021, compared to the previous month, and by 43.3%, compared to May 2020, the National Statistics Service reports.
