UKRAINE

The Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture predicts a reduction in sugar imports to total 80 thousand tons in the 2020/2021 marketing year – less by 23%, or by 24 thousand tons, compared to 2019/2020.

KYRGYZSTAN

According to the State Anti-Monopoly Agency, as of March 4, 2020, the average market prices for refined sugar amounted to 38.81 soms per kg (36.3 rubles at the average exchange rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation for 2020). Over the year, sugar prices increased by 57%, to 60.8 soms (53.47 rubles at the average current exchange rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation for 2021) per kg.
