Rusagro has published Q4 2020 operating results, stating, in particularly, that the volume of sugar sales decreased by 52% - to 140 thousand tons in Q4/2020, compared to the same period in 2019. Selling prices increased by 78% to RUB 39.2/kg excluding VAT. Together with this, the volume of production of Rusagro has dropped by 24% (compared to the same period in 2019) to make total 487 thousand tons of sugar in Q4/2020.

In the 2020/21 season, the Sucden Group has processed about 3.25 million tons of sugar beet and will produce about 565 thousand tons of sugar (a year earlier - about 800 thousand tons), according to the financial director of the holding in Russia Gleb Tikhomirov.
