The Moscow Exchange has questions about trading sugar at market prices. On the one hand, since the beginning of the year, manufacturers have fixed the selling price at the level of 36 rubles per 1 kg. On the other hand, the National Commodity Exchange (part of the Moscow Exchange) trades sugar at a free price: it is set by the market and is justified by supply and demand only. Therefore, the organization turned to the FAS with a request to clarify whether this contradiction should be eliminated and how it could be done.
