RUSSIA
In the 2020/2021 season, the sugar factories of the Rusagro Group of Companies operated for up to 110 days and produced 623.1 thousand tons of sugar. The decrease of production volume has made 30% compared to e previous season, according to the press service of Rusagro. During the season, Rusagro factories have processed 3.7 million tons of sugar beet, including 2.8 million tons supplied by the agricultural segment of Rusagro, with an average digestion rate of 20.5%. Sugar stocks will amount to about 450 thousand tons by the end of the year. Before the start of the next season, Rusagro plans to produce about 67 thousand tons of sugar from molasses.
UKRAINE
According to NASU "Ukrtsukor" Ukraine produced 996.3 thousand tons of sugar and processed 7.51 million tons of sugar beet as of December 28, 2020.
BELARUS
Sugar stocks with industrial enterprises amounted to 204.2 thousand tons as of December 1, 2020, which is 4.7 times more than the average monthly production volume and 167.3% higher than the volume of inventories as of the first day of last month, the National Statistics Service reports.
