Prices for refined beet sugar from industrial producers to 27.94 rubles/kg on August 5, 2020 (+1.1% per week), according to the Food Safety Monitoring and Forecasting System of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia.

IKAR maintains its earlier forecast for the production of beet sugar in the Russian Federation in 2020 season: 5.8-6.4 million tons.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, as of August 7, 2020, sugar beets (Krasnodar Territory) were harvested from 3.3 thousand hectares, 146.3 thousand tons collected at average yield of 44.33 MT/ha.
