KAZAKHSTAN
It is planned to grow sugar beet at 16,100 hectares in the Almaty region in 2020 season (last season the total acreage was 14 thousand ha).
BELARUS
Sugar reserves with the industrial enterprises amounted to 329.2 thousand tons as of April 1, 2020, which is 24.9 times more than the average monthly volume of production and 17.7% less than the volume of reserves as of the first day of the last month. These figures were reported to Sugar.Ru by the National Statistical Committee of the Republic of Belarus.
UKRAINE
As of April 1, 2020, sugar stocks with the agricultural enterprises amounted to 345,842.3 tons, which is 4.3% less than on April 1, 2019. In the 1st quarter of 2020 farmers have sold 151 thousand tons of sugar. The average consumer price made UAH 9054/MT (excluding VAT, transportation, shipping costs).
