KAZAKHSTAN

Almost all sugar was sold out in Pavlodar (northeastern Kazakhstan). In some stores where sugar is still available, the price rose markedly – from about 180 tenge / kg which was last week, (RUR 31.24 at the current rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation), to current 250 tenge/kg (RUR 43.39), the local press reports.

BELARUS

Sugar reserves with industrial enterprises in Belarus amounted to 400.3 thousand tons as of March 1, 2020, which is 20.2 times more than the average monthly volume of production and 9% less than the volume of reserves as of the first day of the last month.
