RUSSIA
As of November 11, 2019, sugar beet was harvested from an area of 1.1 million hectares, or 95.8% of the area sown (in 2018 - 1.1 million hectares), total 51.3 million tons were collected (in 2018 - 40, 4 million tons) with average yield of 46.79 MT/ha (in 2018 – 37.32 MT/ha).
UKRAINE
According to preliminary data, production of sugar beets in Ukraine in 2019 decreased by 4.2 million tons to 9.8 million tons, the Minister of Economy Timofey Milovanov has informed.
As of November 8, 2019, a volume of 6.67 million tons of beets was processed and 984.7 thousand tons of sugar were produced, Ukrtsukor reports.
BELARUS
Minsk is discussing measures with the EAEU partners to stabilize the situation in the sugar market, including the introduction of price regulation, said Igor Shustov, First Deputy Chairman of the Belgospischeprom Concern
