RUSSIA
As of November 7, 2019, sugar beets were harvested from an area of 1.08 million ha, or 94.5% of the crop acreage (in 2018 - 1.07 million ha), total 50.5 million tons of beet collected (in 2018 - 39, 7 million tons) with a yield of 46.63 MT/ha (in 2018 – 37.15 MT/ha). In Bashkortostan, the harvesting of sugar beets is over. By November 7, 2019, sugar beet was collected from 47 thousand 380 hectares, the average yield has made 36.7 MT/ha. Bulk harvest has made 1 million 738 thousand tons of sugar beets, which is 320 thousand tons more than a year earlier, the Ministry of Agriculture reports.
UKRAINE
As of November 7, 2019, 6.54 million tons of beets were processed and 966.5 thousand tons of sugar produced, Ukrtsukor reports.
BELARUS
By November 8, 2019, sugar beet was harvested from an area of 91.3 thousand hectares or 97.9% of the area sown (in 2018 - 97.7 thousand hectares), Sugar.Ru was informed in the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Belarus. About 4680.6 thousand MT (in 2018 - 4672.1 thousand MT) of beets were collected, with an average yield of 51.28 MT/ha (in 2018 – 47.81 MT/ha). The sugar content in beet in the republic is 16.84% versus 16.94% for the same date last year.
KYRGYZSTAN
The volume of the national sugar production amounted to almost 17 thousand tons in January-September 2019, which is 56.9% less than last year, as follows from the data of the Ministry of Agriculture. In 2019 season sugar beet is sown in the Kyrgyz Republic at 14.4 thousand hectares, or 88.5% of the plan, less by 1.8 thousand hectares compared to the previous year.
