RUSSIA

As of October 2, 2019, sugar beets were harvested from an area of 515.6 thousand ha or 45% of the area sown, 22.6 million tons of beets collected (in 2018 - 20.2 million tons) with average yield of 43.81 MT/ha (in 2018 – 35.47 MT/ha).

UKRAINE

By October 2, 2019, Ukrainian farmers harvested 2.4 million tons of sugar beets from an area of 53 thousand hectares, or 24% of the forecast, with an average yield of 44.6 MT/ha, according to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy.

BELARUS

By October 3, 2019, sugar beet was harvested from an area of 38.2 thousand hectares or 40.7% of the area sown (in 2018 - 37.3 thousand hectares), Sugar.Ru was informed in the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Belarus. About 1756.9 thousand MT (in 2018 - 1615.6 thousand MT) of beets were collected, with an average yield of 46.04 MT/ha (in 2018 – 43.28 MT/ha). The sugar content is 16.48% versus 16.39% for the same date last year.
