RUSSIA
Agrarians of the Krasnodar region have harvested 5 million 90 thousand tons of sugar beets. The average yield exceeds 47.3 MT/ha, which is 12.7 MT higher than last year. A better half of the crop acreage area has already been harvested, the regional administration reports.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, as of September 27, 2019, sugar beets were harvested from an area of 426.4 thousand ha or 37.2% of the area sown, 18.6 million tons of beet collected (in 2018 - 16.2 million tons) with average yield of 43.65 MT/ha (in 2018 – 34.6 MT/ha).
UKRAINE
According to Ukrstat data, processed by Sugar.Ru, the production of beet pulp in August 2019 has made 0.0 MT (in August 2018 - 0.0 MT). Total 0 MT of beet pulp have been produced in January-August 2019 (in January-August 2018 - 0 MT). The stocks of beet pulp decreased to 158350,0 MT in August 2019
(-45.70% vs. previous month, -37.13% vs. August 2018 and -86.05% vs. December 2018).

According to Ukrstat data, processed by Sugar.Ru, the production of white sugar in August 2019 has made 0.0 MT (in August 2018 - 0.0 MT). Total 0 MT of white sugar have been produced in January-August 2019 (in January-August 2018 - 0 MT). The stocks of white sugar decreased to 105412,0 MT in August 2019
(-45.73% vs. previous month, +113.90% vs. August 2018 and -86.80% vs. December 2018).
BELARUS
By September 30, 2019, sugar beet was harvested from an area of 33.8 thousand hectares or 36.1% of the area sown (in 2018 - 32.7 thousand hectares), Sugar.Ru was informed in the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Belarus. About 1545.8 thousand MT (in 2018 - 1400.3 thousand MT) of beets were collected, with an average yield of 45.67 MT/ha (in 2018 – 42.86 MT/ha). The beet sugar content in the republic is 16.4% versus 16.3% for the same date last year.

According to the analysis of Statkom of the Republic of Belarus, conducted by Sugar.Ru, production of sugar increased over the month by 800.00% in August 2019 and has made 0.9 thousand MT (in previous month - 0.1 thousand MT, in August 2018 - 0.0 thousand MT). Production of sugar by January-August 2019 increased compared to the same period last year by 8,85% and has made 73 thousand MT (in 2018 - 67 thousand MT).

The Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade of Belarus has set maximum and minimum prices and maximum trading premium for white crystalline sugar. The marginal price for sugar is set based on the average price prevailing in the market. In retail, it will amount to Br1.5 with VAT (46.58 rubles at the current rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation), selling price of ex-departure (excluding VAT) - Br1.19 (36.95 rubles), selling price of ex-destination (excluding VAT) - Br1.22 (37.89 rubles). The regulation does not apply to the packaging of 20 g or less.
