RUSSIA
As of August 22, 2019, sugar beet was harvested from an area of 55.2 thousand ha or 4.8% of crop acreage (in 2018 - 30.8 thousand ha), 2.3 million tons of sugar beets collected (in 2018 - 1 million tons) with a yield of 41.80 MT/ha (in 2018 – 33.17 MT/ha).
UKRAINE
In January-July 2019, agricultural enterprises sold sugar at an average of UAH 9144.6/MT (RUR 22 356/MT) excluding VAT, the State Statistics Service reports. In January-July, farmers sold 439.1 thousand tons of sugar.
KYRGYZSTAN
According to Statkom of Kyrgyzstan, conducted by Sugar.Ru, sugar production increased over the month by 27.04% in July 2019 and has made 24.9 tons (in previous month - 19.6 tons, in July 2018 - 11767.8 tons, in July 2017 - 36.4 tons). Total 9785 tons of sugar have been produced in January-July 2019 (in January-July 2018 - 31175 tons).
