According to Soyuzrossahar, as of July 10, the weight of beet was 179 g average in Russia, which is 35% higher than in the same observation period in 2018 and higher by 20% compared to 2017. The forecast of sugar beet production may be adjusted further due to the slowdown of sugar beet development in the Southern Federal District, which is due to insufficient rainfall in the second half of June and in the beginning of July of this year.
