According to the System of Monitoring and Forecasting, food safety of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia for price white sugar amounted to RUR 28.19/kg on June 27, 2019 (-1.9% per week).

According to Soyuzrossahar, the development of sugar beet crops is as follows as of June 1, 2019 (average for Russia):

• beet weight - 117 g (in 2018 - 81, in 2017 - 92 g),
• weight of the tops is 165 g (in 2018 –124, in 2017 - 196 g),
• plant density - 101 thousand plants per 1 ha (in 2018 – 96 000, in 2017 - 96 000).
