RUSSIA
According to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, as of May 16, 2019, sowing of sugar beet in Russia was carried out on an area of 1.1 million hectares or 98.4% of the forecast area (in 2018 - 1.1 million hectares).
Agrarians of the Belgorod region completed the sowing of sugar beet, reports the regional Department of the agro-industrial complex and the reproduction of the environment. In 2019, according to the plan, 57579 hectares were allocated for sugar beet in the region.

NCSP Group (LSE: NCSP, MOEX: NMTP) reports that the volume of sugar handled in January-March 2019 has made 109 thousand tons, which is 32 thousand tons or 41.5% more than in January-March 2018.
UKRAINE
According to Statkom of Ukraine, conducted by Sugar.Ru, wholesale price of sugar from producers in April 2019 practically has not changed, remaining over the month at 9125.13 UAH/MT (in previous month - 9118.24 UAH/MT, in April 2018 - 9648.57 UAH/MT). Russian rouble equivalent price (at the exchange rate of the Russian Central Bank for the middle of the reporting month) has decreased over the month by 1.62% in April 2019 and has made 22030.89 RUB/MT (in previous month - 22394.03 RUB/MT, in April 2018 - 22681.38 RUB/MT). USD equivalent price (at the exchange rate of the Russian Central Bank for the middle of the reporting month) has decreased over the month by 0.27% in April 2019 and has made 341.474 USD/MT (in previous month - 342.405 USD/MT, in April 2018 - 369.217 USD/MT).
AZERBAIJAN
According to the customs service of Azerbaijan data, processed by Sugar.Ru, exports of sugar and raw sugar amounted to 3.77 thousand tons in April 2019, in just 4 months of 2019 - 9.88 thousand tons (in 2018 - 12.11 thousand tons)
