RUSSIA
According to the analysis of customs declarations of FCS conducted by Sugar.ru, in March 2019 Russia has exported 39.9 thousand tons of molasses. According to the results of 3 months of molasses export campaign, Russia has shipped out 148.5 thousand tons (in 2018 - 187.6 thousand MT; in 2017 - 90.1 thousand MT). In the period January - March 2019, the main countries importers of molasses from Russia were TURKEY (51.19%) and SPAIN (14.52%).
UKRAINE
According to Statkom of Ukraine figures, analyzed by Sugar.Ru, wholesale price of sugar decreased over the month by 0.56% in April 2019 and has made 14.08 UAH/kg (in previous month - 14.16 UAH/kg, in April 2018 - 15.15 UAH/kg). Russian rouble equivalent price (at the exchange rate of the Russian Central Bank for the middle of the reporting month) has decreased over the month by 2.25% in April 2019 and has made 33.99 RUB/kg (in previous month - 34.78 RUB/kg, in April 2018 - 35.61 RUB/kg). USD equivalent price (at the exchange rate of the Russian Central Bank for the middle of the reporting month) has decreased over the month by 0.91% in April 2019 and has made 0.527 USD/kg (in previous month - 0.532 USD/kg, in April 2018 - 0.580 USD/kg).
