RUSSIA
According to the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, the prices of industrial producers for sugar beet sugar amounted to RUR 32.57/kg (-1.1% per week) on April 25, 2019
UKRAINE
By May 2, 2019, the sowing of sugar beet in Ukraine was carried out on an area of 212 thousand hectares or 87% of the forecast, according to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy.
BELARUS
As Sugar.Ru was informed at the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Belarus, by May 6, 2019 Belarusian farmers have sown 95.7 thousand hectares of sugar beet, which is 100.7% of the plan (last year - 98.3 thousand hectares). The acreage of sugar beet in 2019 was planned to make 95.0 thousand hectares total.
CUSTOMS UNION
The duty on import of raw sugar to the Customs Union remains at $ 250/MT in May 2019. The average monthly price for raw sugar at the ICE stock exchange was $ 276,43/MT in April 2019, respectively, the import duty in June 2019 will remain at the level $250/MT.
KAZAKHSTAN
By May 4, 2019, sowing of sugar beet in Kazakhstan was performed on an area of 13.8 thousand hectares out of 22.8 thousand hectares planned (in 2018 - 14.0 thousand hectares out of 21.5 thousand hectares), Sugar.Ru was reported in the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

According to Statkom of Kazakhstan, the producer price of white sugar in April 2019 (excluding excises and VAT) has not changed and amounted to 176715 Tenge/MT (in 2018 - 156597 Tenge/MT, in 2017 - 0 Tenge/MT), or RUR 30024.41/MT (at the rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation by the middle of the reporting month).
