According to the Ministry of Agriculture, on March 22, 2019, farmers in Krasnodar and Chechen Republic have seeded sugar beet out on an area of 1.4 thousand hectares or 0.1% of the forecast area.
UKRAINE
According to the analysis of data by the Federal Customs Service of Ukraine, conducted by Sugar.Ru, in 1 month (January) 2019, export of white sugar (HS code 170199) made total 41 070 MT. Export of beet pulp (HS code 230320) made total 29 845 MT. The main importer beet pulp from Ukraine - Saudi Arabia (15 072 MT).
