RUSSIA
According to the Lipetsk regional agricultural department, it is planned to increase the area under sugar beet in the region by 9.6 thousand hectares in 2019.

Average consumer price for granulated sugar in January 2019 amounted to 46.98 rubles per 1 kg., which is 0.75 rubles higher than a month ago, according to Rosstat.
BELARUS
In 2018 the sugar beet processing facilities have undergone renovations aimed to increase DC on beet up to 12 thousand tons per day at Gorodeya Sugar Refinery OJSC and up to 10 thousand tons at Zhabinkovsky Sugar Plant OJSC, Belgospishcheprom reports.
KYRGYZSTAN
According to the resolution of the Ministry of Agriculture, it is planned to sow 15.3 thousand hectares of sugar beet in 2019 season (in Talas oblast - 0.4 thousand hectares, in Chui oblast - 14.9 thousand hectares).
AZERBAIJAN
According to the data by the customs service of Azerbaijan, processed by Sugar.Ru, in January 2019, exports of sugar and raw sugar totaled 2.09 thousand tons, (in 2018 - 0.88 thousand tons). Imports of sugar and raw sugar in January 2019 amounted to 31.54 thousand tons (in 2018 - 11.53 thousand tons).
