RUSSIA
According to the Williams agency, as of February 5, 2019, 18 vessels with total tonnage of 654,494 tons were nominated in 2018-2019 from seaports of Brazil to the CIS countries, Georgia and the Baltic States, of which 16 vessels with 58,294 tons were unloaded according to Sugar.Ru.
UKRAINE
According to the results of 2018/2019 MY, a total of 13.6 million tons of sugar beet were processed in Ukraine and 1.82 million tons of sugar produced, which is 15% less than a year earlier, reports Ukrtsukor. The leader of sugar manufacture is traditionally the Vinnitsa region - 424.0 thousand tons. The second position was taken by the Ternopol region - 227.0 thousand tons followed by Poltava region. - 222.5 thousand tons of sugar.
BELARUS
According to Sugar.Ru railway shipments monitoring, in January 2019 Belarus exported 1,2 thousand tons of white sugar transit the Russian railway. The last time such low transit volumes were in January 2017 (311 tons), later on the shipments did not fall below 3 000 tons per month. The major receive of Belarusian sugar in January 2019 was Kazakhstan (883 tons).
ARMENIA
According to the analysis of the data of the Statcom of Armenia, conducted by Sugar.Ru, the production of granulated sugar was none in December 2018 (same in December 2017, and in December 2016). Thus, total 58 000 tons of granulated sugar was produced in January-December 2018 (49 thousand tons in January-December 2017).
