RUSSIA
Sugar plants of Bashkortostan have completed the processing of sugar beet from harvest in 2018. As a result, 201.2 thousand tons of sugar was produced during the season (in the previous one - 185,6 thousand tons).

The court has prohibited the exploitation of the access road in the village of Girey of the Gulkevichsky district of the Krasnodar region, which was used by LLC Girey-Sugar, because of the numerous violations.
UKRAINE
Since the beginning of the current marketing season (September-December), 1650 thousand tons of sugar from beets was produced in Ukraine, which is 17% less than in the same period of the previous season. Estimated domestic sugar consumption for September-December 2018 is projected at 457 thousand tons. For 4 months of the current season, 198 thousand tons of sugar was exported, which is 14% more than in September-December 2017. As of 1 January, 2019, estimated balances of sugar is projected at 1,435 thousand tons, which is 10% less than the same date of last year, according to the balances of the Economic Discussion Club (EDC).

Astarta have completed production season at the end of December with the final result of 352 thousand tons of sugar production. The share of the top-quality sugar stood at 87% (including 16% of the extra quality) from the total production level. Granulated pulp production increased by 9% to 47 thousand tons, reports the press service of the holding.
KAZAKHSTAN
According to the analysis of Statkom of Kazakhstan, conducted by Sugar.Ru, production of sugar and molasses increased over the month by 102.35% in December 2018 and has made 59218.0 tons (in previous month - 29265.0 tons, in December 2017 - 47677.0 tons, in December 2016 - 38293.0 tons). Total 283134 tons of sugar and molasses have been produced in January-December 2018 (in January-December 2017 - 379690 tons).
