RUSSIA
According to the analysis of the customs declarations of the FCS conducted by Sugar.ru, for 11 months of 2018, Russia exported 149.7 thousand tons of white sugar outside the CU, two thirds of which fell to Uzbekistan. Imports from non-EAEU countries mainly came from Poland - 30.5 thousand tons; and total 39.6 thousand tons of white sugar were imported from the beginning of 2018

The program “Development of sugar beet breeding and seed production in the Russian Federation”, the purpose of which is the creation of competitive sugar beet hybrids of domestic breeding, has been approved. The term of the program is 2018-2025.
UKRAINE
As of December 21, 2018, total 12.15 million tons of beets were processed and 1,650.3 thousand tons of sugar were produced at 40 sugar factories operated during the season, Ukrtsukor reports.
BELARUS
By government decree, the total supply of sugar beet for republican state needs in 2018 has increased from 2.085 to 2.15 million tons.
