RUSSIA
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, as of October 3, 2018, sugar beet was harvested from an area of 554.2 thousand hectares or 50% of the area sown (in 2017 – 539.5 thousand hectares).

UKRAINE
According to the State Statistics Service, in January-August 2018 the total sales of sugar produced in the country amounted to UAH 7919.0 million excluding VAT and excise (about 18,264 million rubles at the current rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation). From which, the amount of sugar sold outside the country amounted to - UAH 814.3 million (about 1878 million rubles.).
BELARUS
By October 3, 2018, sugar beet was harvested from an area of 37.3 thousand hectares or 37.5% of the area sown (in 2017 - 36.8 thousand hectares), Sugar.Ru was informed in the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Belarus. About 1615.5 thousand MT (in 2017 - 1661.6 thousand MT) of beets were collected, with an average yield of 43.28 MT/ha (in 2017 – 45.12 MT/ha). The sucrose content is 16.39% average versus 15.52% for the same date last year.
