RUSSIA

UKRAINE

The main receiver of Ukrainian sugar was Uzbekistan - 7.9 thousand tons. Since the beginning of the year, Ukraine has exported 248.6 thousand tons of white sugar by the Russian railway, and in two months of the 2018/19 season. - 35.1 thousand tons. The leaders in exports for the first 9 months of 2018 were Orzhitsky Sugar Refinery - 31.7 thousand tons and Teofipolsky sugar plant - 25.1 thousand tons.

As of October 2, 2018, 34 sugar factories were operating, 2,152.9 thousand tons of beets was processed and 260.4 thousand tons of sugar were produced, reports Ukrtsukor.

BELARUS

According to the information of the Association “Belsakhar”, as of October 1, 2018, sugar organizations of the republic procured 1051.7 thousand tons of sugar beet. From the beginning of the season, 926.8 thousand tons of beet was processed, from which 113.2 thousand tons of white sugar was produced.
