According to the Ministry of Agriculture, as of September 24, 2018, sugar beet was harvested from an area of 442.0 thousand hectares or 39.9% of the area sown (in 2017 – 409.9 thousand hectares).

Kyrgyzstan
According to Statkom of Kyrgyzstan, conducted by Sugar.Ru, sugar production decreased over the month by 99.86% in August 2018 and has made 16.2 tons (in the previous month - 11767.8 tons, in August 2017 - 37.5 tons, in August 2016 - 25.9 tons). Total 31180 tons of sugar have been produced in January-August 2018 (in January-August 2017 - 32171 tons).
Belarus
By September 26, 2018, sugar beet was harvested from an area of 26.7 thousand hectares or 26.8% of the area sown (in 2017 - 25.7 thousand hectares), Sugar.Ru was informed in the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Belarus. About 1134 thousand MT (in 2017 - 1147.4 thousand MT) of beets were collected, with an average yield of 42.51 MT/ha (in 2017 – 44.57 MT/ha). The beet sugar content in the republic is 16.27% versus 15.33% for the same date last year.
