RUSSIA
According to Rosstat figures, processed by Sugar.Ru, the sales volume of sugar by large and medium-sized wholesale organizations decreased to 291,767.96 tons in July 2018 (-5.76% against the previous month and + 167.29% against July of the previous year).

According to the data of Rosstat, processed by Sugar.Ru, the stocks of sugar with wholesale trade increased to 131828.32 tons in July 2018 (+ 17.23% against the previous month and + 53.53% against July of the previous year).

According to Soyuzrossahar, 48.8 thousand hectares of crops were harvested by August 24, 2018 (4.3% of the area sown.) In 2017 – 58.9 thousand hectares were harvested on this date.
ARMENIA
According to the Armenian FCS, total volume of 91.5 thousand tons of sugar and raw sugar was imported to Armenia in 2017, of which 67.6 thousand tons were raw sugar and 23.9 thousand tons were white refined sugar.
