According to price monitoring by Sugar.ru in the period from July 11, 2018 to July 18, 2018 ruble Moscow wholesale price of sugar fell by 0.10 rubles / kg (-0.34%), Krasnodar +1.00 rubles / kg (+ 3.45%). Dollar wholesale Moscow price - $ 0.002 / kg (-0.42%), wholesale Krasnodar + $ 0.016 / kg (3.45%). Over the past three days, wholesale prices have finally begun to move up. Export of sugar by rail for the first two decades of July remains at the level of the previous two months (about 16 thousand tons per month). Transit of Ukrainian sugar on the Russian railways since the beginning of July amounted to 21.6 thousand tons, almost all to Uzbekistan. Belarus delivered 6.2 thousand tons of sugar (4.9 thousand tons to Kazakhstan) through Russia.
KAZAKHSTAN
According to the analysis of the FCS data, conducted by Sugar.Ru, imports of raw sugar (HS 170114) for the 4 months (January-April) 2018 with countries outside the Customs Union zone amounted to 115.54 thousand tons (85.6 thousand tons from Brazil and 30 thousand tons from Cuba). Imports of white sugar (HS 170199) amounted to 7.17 thousand tons, mainly from Poland and the Netherlands. Export of white sugar - 47.07 thousand tons, all to Uzbekistan (sugar derived from imported raw sugar).
BELARUS
The Eurasian Economic Commission has agreed to extend the state regulation of sugar prices in Belarus until December 23. Accordingly, the marginal minimum prices and the maximum trade margin will maintain at the rate of 15%.
