RUSSIA
According to the IKAR data, the weight of sugar beet is lower in all beet-growing regions, except for Lipetsk, Belgorod, Oryol, Bryansk, Saratov regions and Mordovia, the weight of the tops is less in all regions except in Belgorod, Orel, Ryazan, Saratov regions and Bashkiria. This is the result of late sowing and drought in the south of Russia.
UKRAINE
According to Gosstat, the average consumer price for sugar in Ukraine was 14.67 UAH / kg in June 2018 (35.10 rubles / kg at the average monthly rate of the Central Bank for June 2018).
AZERBAIJAN
According to the customs service of Azerbaijan processed by Sugar.Ru, in June 2018, the export of sugar amounted to 4.7 thousand tons, in just 6 months of 2018 - 20.8 thousand tons (in 2017 - 40.3 thousand tons). Imports of sugar and raw sugar in February amounted to 35.6 thousand tons in January-June 2018 - 57.4 thousand tons (in 2017 - 149.1 thousand tons).
