RUSSIA
According to the analysis of customs declarations of FCS conducted by Sugar.ru, in May 2018 Russia has exported 292.6 thousand tons of molasses. According to the results of 5 months of molasses export campaign, Russia has shipped out 292.6 thousand tons (in 2017 - 167.3 thousand MT; in 2016 - 147.1 thousand MT). In the period January - May 2018, the main countries importers of molasses from Russia were TURKEY (56.56%) and SPAIN (9.94%).
KYRGYZSTAN
According to the analysis of data by the Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan, conducted by Sugar.Ru, for June 2018 average consumer sugar prices were 49.46 KGS / kg (+5.52% compared to the previous month, +3.24% YTD and -10.74% by June 2017) or 44.58 rubles / kg at the rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation for the middle of the reporting month
BELARUS
According to the National Statistical Committee, the average consumer price for refined sugar in June was BYR 1.53 / kg. (47.97 rubles / kg at the average exchange rate for June from the Central Bank of the Russian Federation).
UKRAINE
The Verkhovna Rada has recommended further amendments to a draft law for revision, the main purpose of which is the deregulation of the sugar industry.
