RUSSIA

According to the figures by Williams Brasil dated July 10, 2018, total 9 vessels have been nominated to carry 337694 MT of raw cane sugar in 2018 season from Brazilian seaports to the Black/Baltic seaports with end-receivers in CIS, Georgia and Baltic states. As of today, the volume received and unloaded makes 226694 MT from 6 vessels, based on Sugar.ru data.

According to the analysis of customs declarations of FCS conducted by Sugar.ru, in May 2018 Russia has exported 492.1 thousand tons of beet pulp. According to the results of 5 months of beet pulp export campaign, Russia has shipped out 492.1 thousand tons (in 2017 - 313.8 thousand MT; in 2016 - 276.8 thousand MT). In the period January - May 2018, the main countries importers of beet pulp from Russia were LATVIA (32.51%) and NETHERLANDS (29.47%).

MOLDOVA

In June 2018 consumer prices for granulated sugar dropped by 2.0%, and in annual terms (compared to June 2017) - by 6.3%, according to the National Statistics Committee.

KAZAKHSTAN

According to the administration of the Zhambyl region, sugar mills reduced the procurement price this year and offer only 8 tenge (1.46 rubles) per kilogram of sugar beet.

According to Statkom of Kazakhstan, the wholesale price of white sugar in June 2018 increased by 0.52% and amounted to 193 Tenge/kg (in 2017 - 233 Tenge/kg, in 2016 - 213 Tenge/kg), or RUR 35.77/kg (at the rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation by the middle of the reporting month).
