RUSSIA
According to the analysis of customs declarations of FCS conducted by Sugar.ru, in March 2018 Russia has exported 365.0 thousand tons of beet pulp. According to the results of 3 months of beet pulp export campaign, Russia has shipped out 365.0 thousand tons (in 2017 - 245.7 thousand MT; in 2016 - 224.0 thousand MT).
In the period January - March 2018, the main countries importers of beet pulp from Russia were LATVIA (33.55%) and NETHERLANDS (29.91%).

According to the figures by Williams Brasil dated May 15, 2018, total 7 vessels have been nominated to carry 254694 MT of raw cane sugar in 2018 season from Brazilian seaports to the Black/Baltic seaports with end-receivers in CIS, Georgia and Baltic states. As of today, the volume received and unloaded makes 66500 MT from 2 vessels, based on Sugar.ru data.
UKRAINE
According to customs statistics’ figures for 8 months of this MY, total volume of 379 thousand tons of sugar was exported (1.8 times less than in September-April 2016/2017). The largest volumes of Ukrainian sugar were imported by Uzbekistan, Turkey, Libya, and Sri Lanka. Import of sugar to Ukraine was almost non-existent, according to the balances of the Economic Discussion Club (EDC).
