RUSSIA
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, as of April 23, 2018, sugar beet was sown on an area of 299.5 thousand hectares or 27.3% of the forecast (in 2017 - 594.3 thousand hectares).

According to the figures by Williams Brasil dated April 24, 2018, total 4 vessels have been nominated to carry 134500 MT of raw cane sugar in 2018 season from Brazilian seaports to the Black/Baltic seaports with end-receivers in CIS, Georgia and Baltic states. As of today, the volume received and unloaded makes 33500 MT from 1 vessel, based on Sugar.ru data.
KYRGYZSTAN
To date, 11 thousand hectares of sugar beet have been sown out of 18 thousand hectares planned, the representative of the Ministry of Agriculture informed.
BELARUS
According to the Federal Customs Service of Belarus, in two months (January-February 2018), exports of white sugar (HS code 170199) amounted to 71,458.0 tons (116.80% against the same period in 2017); import - 8797.0 tons (159.00% against the same period of 2017).
