RUSSIA
Concert "Pokrovsky" has completed sugar beet sowing in Kuban (Krasnodar region) with total 15.06 thousand ha acreage (last year - 14 thousand hectares). The future harvest will be processed at the sugar factories of the concern in full volume.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, as of April 17, 2018, sugar beet was sown in the country at the area of 254.2 thousand hectares or 23.2% of the forecast (in 2017 - 526.5 thousand hectares).

According to the figures by Williams Brasil dated April 17, 2018, total 3 vessels have been nominated to carry 99500 MT of raw cane sugar in 2018 season from Brazilian seaports to the Black/Baltic seaports with end-receivers in CIS, Georgia and Baltic states. As of today, the volume received and unloaded makes 33500 MT from 1 vessel, based on Sugar.ru data.
UKRAINE
The “Astarta-Kiev” plants have received and confirmed an average of 25 international certificates of ISO 22000, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 series in 2017. As a result of the season, Astarta has increased the share of sugar of the first category in total production up to 86% (71% in last season).
