RUSSIA
According to the analysis of customs declarations of FCS conducted by Sugar.ru, in February 2018 Russia has imported 22.0 thousand tons of white sugar. According to the results of 2 months of white sugar import campaign, Russia has shipped in 47.8 thousand tons (in 2017 - 42.8 thousand MT; in 2016 - 58.7 thousand MT). In the period January - February 2018, the main countries exporters of white sugar to Russia were BELARUS (88.22%) and POLAND (7.61%).
In February 2018 Russia has exported 132.4 thousand tons of white sugar. According to the results of 2 months of white sugar export campaign, Russia has shipped out 132.4 thousand tons (in 2017 - 60.6 thousand MT; in 2016 - 0.8 thousand MT). In the period January - February 2018, the main countries importers of white sugar from Russia were UZBEKISTAN (75.68%) and KAZAKHSTAN (8.47%).

According to the figures by Williams Brasil dated April 10, 2018, total 3 vessels have been nominated to carry 99500 MT of raw cane sugar in 2018 season from Brazilian seaports to the Black/Baltic seaports with end-receivers in CIS, Georgia and Baltic states. As of today, the volume received and unloaded makes 33500 MT from 1 vessel, based on Sugar.ru data.
BELARUS
According to the Sugar.Ru monitoring data, in three months of 2018 Belarus exported 40.7 thousand tons of white sugar transit Russia, with exports growing since the beginning of the year. The main recipient of Belarusian sugar was Kazakhstan (23.9 thousand tons since the beginning of the year) and Tajikistan (7.5 thousand tons since the beginning of the year).
