According to the Ministry of Agriculture, farmers in Krasnodar Territory region have begun to sow sugar beet, as of April 2. 2018 total area sown makes 2.1 thousand hectares (in 2017 - 22.5 thousand hectares).

According to the figures by Williams Brasil dated April 3, 2018, total 3 vessels have been nominated to carry 99500 MT of raw cane sugar in 2018 season from Brazilian seaports to the Black/Baltic seaports with end-receivers in CIS, Georgia and Baltic states. As of today, the volume received and unloaded makes 33500 MT from 1 vessel, based on Sugar.ru data.
ARMENIA
According to the analysis of Statkom of Armenia, conducted by Sugar.Ru, production of confectionery decreased over the month by 62.79% in January 2018 and has made 0.9 thousand tons (in the last month - 2.4 thousand tons, in January 2017 - 0.8 thousand tons, in January 2016 - 0.6 thousand tons). Total 1 thousand tons of confectionery have been produced in January 2018 (in January 2017 - 1 thousand tons).
KAZAKHSTAN
According to Statkom, consumer prices for sugar increased by 1.6% in March 2018, and in annual terms (by March 2017) - decreased by 15.1%.
