RUSSIA
In 2018 season Krasnodar farmers plan grow sugar beet at 203 thousand hectares (3.1 thousand hectares more than a year earlier), the administration of the region informs.
KYRGYZSTAN
In 2018 the sugar beet acreage in Kyrgyzstan will increase by 0.5 thousand hectares compared to area sown the last year, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic reports.
ARMENIA
Armenia has imported 3,164 tons of sugar and raw sugar (HS Code 1701) for total $ 1,611.64 thousand; 76 tons of other sugars (HS Code 1702) for total $ 51.31 thousand, and 19.6 tons of molasses for total $ 3.89 thousand in February 2018, according to information received by Sugar.Ru from the National Statistical Service of Armenia.
