RUSSIA

According to the Federal Customs Service, Russia imported 24.6 thousand tons of white sugar in May 2017. By the end of five months, the imports of white sugar to Russia amounted to 119.9 thousand tons (in 2016 - 133.1 thousand tons, in 2015 - 152.3 thousand tons). In May 2017 Russia exported 37.4 thousand tons of white sugar. Following the results of 5 months, the export of white sugar from Russia amounted to 193.6 thousand tons (in 2016 - 2.8 thousand tons, in 2015 - 1.1 thousand tons).
UKRAINE
According to Gosstat, in June 2017 the consumer sugar prices in the country did not change; since the beginning of the year prices have increased by 9.1%, and by an annualized rate (June 2017 to June 2016) - by 14.4%.

In June 2017, sugar prices from manufacturers decreased by 2%. Since the beginning of the year the prices increased by 10.3%, and in annual terms (June 2017 to June 2016) - by 20.4%.
AZERBAIJAN
According to the customs service of Azerbaijan, the export of sugar amounted to 7.7 thousand tons in June 2017; and in 6 months of 2017 has reached total 40.3 thousand tons (in 2016 - 51.3 thousand tons). Imports of sugar and raw sugar in June amounted to 24.0 thousand tons; in January-June 2017 - 149.1 thousand tons (in 2016 - 131.4 thousand tons).
MOLDOVA
Consumer prices for granulated sugar fell by 0.1% in June 2017; in annual terms (vs. June 2016) - increased by 8.5%.
