RUSSIA

Meleuzovsky sugar factory (Bashkiria) has delivered for export 240 tons of granulated beet pulp to the Netherlands.

Production of white beet sugar amounted to 393 thousand tons in Russia in January 2017, which is 3.8 times higher than in January last year, according to Rosstat.

KAZAKHSTAN

According to the analysis of data issued by the statistic committee of Kazakhstan and conducted Sugar.Ru, the volume of sugar and molasses produced increased by 0.89% in January 2017and amounted to 38 635 tons (in 2016 – 35 472 tons, in 2015 – 16 614 tons).

Beet growers in Almaty region of Kazakhstan have not received payment for last year's crop, the press reported. The volume of the harvest has exceeded 240 thousand tons, the peasants supplied raws for about 3.5 billion Tenge, the outstanding debt today makes 700 mln Tenge.

AZERBAIJAN

Azerbaijan has imported 365.2 thousand tons of raw sugar and sugar in 2016, which is 25.3% higher than in 2015.

UKRAINE

In January 2017 the average sales price of sugar beet was UAH 706.2 per ton (1504 RUR/t - at the current rate of the Central Bank of Russian Federation) without VAT, subsidies, transport, freight and overhead costs, reported STATCOM.

Wholesale selling price of sugar increased by 1.02% for the week and was in the range of UAH 14600-15000/t (31107-31959 RUR/t). The price range on molasses was UAH 2800-3000/t (5965-6391 RUR/t), according to "Infoindustriya".
