RUSSIA
According to Rosstat, the volume of production of refined beet sugar amounted to 4.6 mln tons in Russia in January-November 2016.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, sugar beet was harvested from the area of 1 095.5 thousand hectares (or 98.7% of total crop acreage) by December 16, 2016.
UKRAINE
By December 10, 2016 Zhitomir region has completed sugar refining season. The plants of the region were supplied with 478 000 tons of sugar beet for further processing; the volume of refined sugar produced has made 81 200 MT (or + 30% vs. 2015).

In November 2016 the average price for refined sugar from producers was UAH 11 808.62 per metric ton (RUR 27 699.95/MT at the current rate of the Central Bank of Russia). In January-November 2016, the average sales price of sugar beet was UAH 856.6/MT (RUR 2 009.36/MT) excluding VAT, subsidies, transport, freight and overhead costs, reports the State Statistics Committee.
BELARUS
According to the statistic committee of Belarus, the national sugar production has made to 151 500 thousand tons in November 2016, thus, in January-November - 732 000 tons total, which exceeds last year level by 21%.
KAZAKHSTAN
According to the statistic committee of Kazakhstan, the production of sugar and molasses has increased by 48.08% and amounted to 47 541 tons in November 2016 (in 2015 – 12 434 tons, in 2014 – 44 560 tons). From the beginning of 2016 the country has produced 418 937 tons of sugar and molasses.
